Date September 11, 2015 (Friday)
Event Highlights

Successful enterprises stay ahead of the game and plan for the future, and data center strategy is no exception! Sometimes enterprises may wonder how data centers will look in the future. They may also question how the move to virtualization, cloud computing, and big data will drive the evolution of data center strategy at a time when greater attention is being paid to cost optimization and better service guarantees.

NTT Communications provided the answers to these questions and more at the Data Center Summit held on September 11, 2015. In his keynote presentation “How High-Density Colocation and Enhanced Visibility Improve Business Performance”, Steven So, Vice President of NTT Com Asia’s Cloud Business Division Data Center Business discussed the key issues and trends affecting future enterprise data center strategy. So took a special focus on the Hong Kong data center market, as well as the unique features of the overall business environment in the city. He explored the value of high-density colocation, and spoke at length on how the visibility of data center infrastructure and management can support enterprises in the age of digital transformation while also enhancing business performance.

A strategic technology partner for best-in-class data center services, NTT Communications continues to innovate reliable, state-of-the-art data center technologies for enterprises. The second phase of FDCTM (FDC2) is set to launch in 2015 and is poised to set new standards for data center infrastructure and management. Designed with cutting-edge cooling, energy efficiency and data visualization technologies, FDC2 is to create new values and enhance business performance for enterprise customers. Enterprises will be able to further future-proof against the increasingly complex new generation IT equipment using FDC2’s high-density ready design, which accommodates accelerating IT capacity with an eye to sustainability and cost efficiency.

Steven So, Vice President of NTT Com Asia’s Data Center Business in the Cloud Business Division, shares how enterprises can benefit from high-density collocation and enhanced visibility and the resulting efficiency in energy and costs and improved business performance.
