NTT Com Asia Presents “ICT for the Future R&D Forum” in Hong Kong Featuring NTT’s World-leading Technologies
(Hong Kong – 24 May 2010) NTT Com Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, announced today that the ICT for the Future R&D Forum will be held on 16 July 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The forum will showcase approximately 20 exhibits from the NTT R&D Centre, covering a wide spectrum of areas from cutting-edge application services, network technologies, and environment and energy technologies. There will also be demonstrations and thought-provoking seminars. NTT R&D’s objective is to research and discover novel concepts, and to facilitate creative thought exchanges on next-generation technologies. It also hopes to realize a human and earth-friendly environment through exploration of untapped communication technologies.

Earlier this year, the R&D Forum in Japan showcased nearly 100 exhibits and attracted over 4,600 local and international visitors. With nearly 2,500 professionals in 12 laboratories of its three research groups, NTT R&D develops innovative solutions that enhance all-rounded human endeavours well supported by academics and enterprises.
